Which KEEN REBONDING CREAM to use?
STRONG = for healthy, untreated, normal hair with light to medium natural waves.
EXTRA STRONG = for healthy, untreated, strong hair with medium to strong natural waves. ATTENTION! Not suitable for dyed hair.
Tip: For colored hair – Mix with KEEN KERATIN REPAIR MASK. Use a non-metallic bowl and mix 1/3 KEEN KERATIN REPAIR MASK with 2/3 KEEN REBONDING CREAM STRONG or 1 part KEEN KERATIN REPAIR MASK with 1 part KEEN REBONDING CREAM STRONG.
Pre-wash hair with KEEN DEEP CLEANING SHAMPOO. Do not dry hair.
Work KEEN PROTECTIVE SERUM from midshaft to ends, strand by strand.
Wear appropriate gloves. Divide the hair into 4 parts of approximately equal size. Place the required amount of KEEN REBONDING CREAM in a nonmetallic bowl.
Beginning at the nape of the neck, use the application brush to apply KEEN REBONDING CREAM to approx. 5 cm-wide strands of each part briskly along the entire length of the hair, keeping a distance of at least 1 cm from the scalp.
Do the same with the remaining parts of the hair. Distribute KEEN REBONDING CREAM evenly.
Do not exceed an application time of max. 20 minutes. Do not comb strands of hair. Do not pull hair during application. Use your fingers or the back of your hand to carefully straighten your hair and check whether the whole head of hair is sufficiently covered with KEEN REBONDING CREAM. Make sure the hair is straight and smooth. At normal room temperature, leave to react for 15 to max. 30 mins. (including application time) according to hair texture. Cover with plastic cap. Do not introduce heat supply nor add any extra covering to the head. Carefully straighten the hair with your fingers during the application time. If the hair of the first part treated can be lengthened by twice its original length (please be careful!), the process is complete.
The maximum exposure time of 30 minutes includes the application time and must not be exceeded.
Rinse hair thoroughly with clean, lukewarm, running water until the product is completely removed. Make sure that no water gets into the eyes. Minimum 5 minutes.
Apply KEEN KERATIN LEAVE IN BALSAM evenly to the hair. Do not rinse out.
Blow-dry hair from roots to ends WITHOUT using a brush or comb. Hold hairdryer above head and smooth hair with your fingers only. Do not comb, pull or knead.
Use CERAMIC straightening iron to smooth hair strand by strand at 180°C max., starting at the nape of the neck.
Straighten every strand about 4 – 5 times.
For best results and to avoid any damage to the hair, always hold hair at an angle of 90° to the head.
DO NOT PULL HAIR.
Divide the hair into 4 parts, leave smooth and straight, do not knot or pull the hair. Put KEEN NEUTRALIZING CREAM into a non-metallic bowl. Beginning at the nape of the neck, use the application brush to apply KEEN NEUTRALIZING CREAM to approx. 5 cm-wide strands of each part over the entire length of the hair, without pulling the hair.
Leave KEEN NEUTRALIZING CREAM to react for at least 20 minutes (depending on hair length and volume).
Rinse hair thoroughly with lukewarm water. Then shampoo with KEEN KERATIN REPAIR SHAMPOO. Do not dry.
Apply KEEN KERATIN REPAIR MASK to the whole hair. Leave to react for 10 – 15 minutes. Thoroughly rinse with lukewarm water.
Rinse the whole hair with KEEN KERATIN ONE-MINUTE CONDITIONER according Instructions for Use.
Blow-dry hair without combing or brushing. Always aim the air flow down the hair sections and hold hairdryer above head. Do not pull, knot or knead hair.
